Through collaboration with various organizations and communities, Terra has improved its outreach and service impact. These partnerships have enabled Terra to share resources and knowledge, resulting in innovative solutions that benefit all parties. As Terra moves forward, it aims to strengthen these relationships and explore new collaboration opportunities. Together, Terra and its partners are committed to creating positive and lasting change in their shared goals and missions.
The partnership between TERRA and Thaki is crucial for helping Syrian students receive a quality education. Many of these children have faced challenging circumstances due to war and conflict, which makes learning more difficult. TERRA and Thaki focus on establishing computer labs and offering digital sessions in essential subjects such as mathematics and science. These resources are designed to make learning more engaging and effective, enabling students to enhance their skills in areas that are crucial for their future success.
With the support of LAL (Lebanese Alternative Learning), a new e-learning program called “Tabshoura” has been introduced. This innovative platform is designed to closely match the Lebanese curriculum, ensuring that students receive a quality education. It offers a flexible and engaging way for students to learn by making use of modern technology. Additionally, “Tabshoura” provides resources that support teachers, allowing them to enhance their teaching methods and connect more effectively with their students. This program represents a significant step forward in improving education in Lebanon.

Since the first of November 2023, Room to Read and Terra have been actively using the libraries installed in the two centers. These libraries serve as vital resources for students, creating inviting spaces for learning and growth. In the mornings, Lebanese students gather in the libraries to study and explore new materials, enhancing their educational experiences. In the afternoons, Syrian students take over, benefiting from the same resources. This shared use fosters a sense of community and collaboration among students, allowing them to learn from each other while enjoying access to a variety of books and educational tools.

With the support of Sopowerful, Teraa successfully met the electrical needs of its schools by installing a solar system. This innovative approach not only ensures a steady power supply for classrooms but also promotes sustainability and environmental awareness among students. The solar panels harness energy from the sun, providing a clean, renewable source of electricity. As a result, Teraa’s schools can efficiently power lighting, computers, and other essential equipment that enhance the learning experience, creating a brighter future for their students.
MAPS is dedicated to promoting health in schools through ongoing campaigns. These initiatives focus on essential health services like dental and eye checks, which ensure that students maintain their overall well-being. Regular dental check-ups help prevent cavities and other oral issues. Eye examinations can detect vision problems early. By providing these services directly in schools, MAPS makes it easier for children to access important healthcare services they might otherwise neglect. It is crucial for children to receive regular check-ups because these contribute to their long-term health and academic success

The English Language Unit has recently kicked off an exciting new program called the Mentorship Initiative, in partnership with McKinsey. This initiative aims to connect students with experienced professionals who can guide them on their language learning journey. By pairing learners with mentors, participants can gain valuable insights and practical skills that will enhance their understanding of English. The program focuses on building confidence in communication, critical thinking, and career development, making it a great opportunity for those looking to improve their language skills and professional prospects.

In addition, both organizations introduce Kolibri to the learning process. Kolibri is an innovative tool designed to enhance learning for people without reliable Internet access. This platform works offline, making it accessible to many learners around the world. It supports various low-cost and older devices, ensuring that more individuals can participate in education. The Kolibri Product Ecosystem includes a range of features, such as a curricular tool that helps teachers create lesson plans and a library filled with open educational resources. This means that anyone can find valuable learning materials tailored to their individual needs.
