FADI MOUAWAD


CHAIRMAN

Fadi is Chairman, Founder, and Legal Representative of TERRA in front of the Lebanese Authorities.

He is a Civil Engineer with Master's Degrees in Infrastructure (Rome, Italy – La Sapienza di Roma) and in Structure (University of Balamand, Lebanon).

He is a skilled WASH professional with over 12 years of experience with Local and International non-profit organizations in Lebanon.

Previously, he worked in various missions including RMF (Rene Mouawad Foundation), CARE Lebanon, Save the Children, COOPI Cooperazione Internazionale, and arche noVa.

Through his long experience in the humanitarian sector, Fadi has gained extensive knowledge and experience in program coordination and management.

SALWA AL JABRI


DIRECTOR GENERAL

Founder and Managing Director of Tamkeen Relief and Educational Assistance Program, Salwa has dedicated over 40 years in social development, first through the field of architecture and construction where setting high execution standards was central, moving to her recent focus on education and equipping young Syrians to excel in spite of refuge.

Since 2013, she has been active in establishing and managing educational centers in Bekaa, facilitating education for 1,500+ children, providing a holistic approach to child development, inclusive of programs such as trauma therapy, choir singing, and medical check-ups. Opportunities are also facilitated for excelling children to continue university education with the support of the Tamkeen Fund at VIP edSeed.

IBRAHIM EL MAHMID


EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Ibrahim joined TERRA in 2021 as a Board Consultant. He is an accomplished WASH professional with over 15 years of experience working in international development, emergencies, and humanitarian contexts.

From 2003 to 2021, Ibrahim worked in a variety of technical advisory and senior leadership roles in various international non-profit organizations such as arche noVa, Save the Children, CARE, Action Against Hunger, and CESVI in African and Asian countries, including Pakistan (Earthquake, 2006), Bangladesh (Cyclone, 2008), South Sudan (2008), Zimbabwe (Cholera, 2009), Pakistan Monsoon Flooding (2010), Djibouti, Chad, Turkey, and Lebanon.
